Portrait or Personal Image - Kenton L Elliott

I became interested in photography in high school, taking a photo lab course in B&W and shooting images for the High School Annual. Over the years I've worked in 35mm, medium format and large format, but the introduction of digital cameras really changed everything. I produced a range of postcards that were marketed in Southern California as well as doing custom postcards for business establishments. My wife, Joyce and I coupled that with commissioned portraiture work and poster design, for a large part of our graphics business.
I love the digital darkroom that has opened so many doors to photographers and enabled all of us to expand our creativity. This is a never ending road of learning and experience - exciting beyond description.
Another love is in the field of wildlife and nature photos, trying to capture these subjects in a way that shows their beauty, but from a unique perspective. We have had the pleasure of our images being used by the County of San Bernardino Regional Parks, The Patuxent Wildlife Research Institute in Laurel, Maryland, Desert USA magazine, as well as some graphics work used on the covers of Country Western musical CD's in Australia.
Reenacted Old West & Historical images are another field we find intriguing and challenging. Trying to capture the 'feel' of another era through portraiture of these characters.
Joyce and I have utilized our love of photography in an exciting business venture. We now have the capabilities to produce vibrant ceramic photo tiles and all of the images presented here are available as permanent display pieces in that format. In addition, we can produce these same tiles using the images from other photographers. This has opened up another field for the professional photographer to market his or her images. Please feel free to contact us for more information, or click on the ceramic tile link to read more.
I sincerely hope you enjoy your visit to our web site. Please sign the guestbook, we would love to hear from you.
